Breakfasts: Cocoa Pebbles
Lunch (Thurs.): Jocks and Jills
Dinner (Thurs.): Waffle House (We were going to go to Cracker Barrel, but it had a wait, so we went across the street to Waffle House. Why do I go out to eat with theses people?)
Lunch (Fri.): Burger 2000 (A fairly crappy double burger. But Drew wanted to go get cheap and not-available-in-NC liquor at Frugal MacDoogal (with their incredibly cheesy music for their web site's flash intro), just over the border into SC, and get corndogs at the Crossroads Mall food court.)
Dinner (Fri.): Mama Ricotta's (Pepperoni and Sausage Pizza. Not as good as their pasta, but I figured I should try the pizza once. Chocolate and cream cheese brownie with Häagen-Dazs ice cream for dessert, which was yummy.)
TV Watched: Stargate SG-1, Farscape
I was bored this afternoon, so I decided to look into programs for automatically downloading binaries from Usenet so I could start slurping the posts in alt.binaries.sounds.music.classical. Looked at aub, brag, and nget. Brag seems to be the best, but I'd be interested if anybody knows of anything better. Anyways, a.b.s.m.c. is actually a good group; 256kbps mp3 seems to be the norm, but I came across some Beethoven Violin Sonatas in FLAC, of all things. Yes, that's right; the losslessly compressed audio format, which only gets about 50% off the raw size. Makes for ridiculously big files to post to Usenet, if you ask me.
