With 179 stories read, I have now completed the first pass through the short story list. There are still a handful on my list to read of which I don't yet have copies, so they'll just have to wait. I also expect to add a few more stories to the list once the Bram Stoker Award Preliminary Ballot is announced. However, for now I have gone ahead and provisionally selected my choices for this year's top short stories.

If I'm feeling particularly motivated at some point, I might even write reviews of the top 5, but that's more likely to happen for the longer stories.

Now I'll be moving on to the Novelettes (7500-17500 words). I hope to be through that list by the end of March.
